Overview:
The composition of a nuclear power plant usually consists of two parts: nuclear system and nuclear equipment, also known as nuclear island; conventional system and conventional equipment, also known as conventional island. These two parts make up the nuclear power generation system. The main equipment in the nuclear island is the nuclear reactor and the steam generator that provides heat by the heat transfer agent (coolant), which replaces the role of the steam boiler in the conventional thermal power station. The main equipment of the conventional island is the gas turbine, generator and their corresponding auxiliary equipment. The composition of the conventional island is roughly the same as that of the conventional thermal power station gas turbine. The number of nuclear power units under construction in my country has reached 23, accounting for 40% of the total number of nuclear power units under construction in the world (57 units), making it the country with the largest scale of nuclear power under construction.
Typical performance:
? Karachi K2-K3 Nuclear Power Project in Pakistan
? Sanmen Nuclear Power Units 3 and 4
? Haiyang Nuclear Power Units 3 and 4
